InformationThe game of Ice Hockey has an ever-changing landscape and the roles of players in the game today continues to evolve. The demands on the modern-day player are so much different to that of years gone by and it is imperative that players continue to adapt and develop their skill set.
At Aldridge High Performance Hockey we are focused on analysing the modern game and looking at the differing playing styles, ensuring that our players are fully equipped to perform at optimum levels.
To oversee our player development, Ryan Aldridge is fully committed to providing a positive learning environment for all our athletes. Ryan has a wealth of playing (21 years) and coaching experience (19 years) across professional levels within the sport in the UK. Having played at EIHL and EPIHL level, Ryan has followed that with Coaching roles at EIHL, EPIHL and is currently the Head Coach of the Leeds Knights in the NIHL. In addition to this, Ryan has years of experience coaching junior teams at the Okanagan Hockey Academy and at GB and England National level. He has a strong history of player development with many of his student athletes plying their trade at high levels internationally as well as in the domestic game at EIHL and NIHL levels.
In addition to Ryan’s experience, he is well supported with a large network of coaching contacts throughout the sport, covering North America, Europe and of course the UK. All of these factors ensure that Aldridge High Performance Hockey is at the forefront of player development and arms our aspiring young athletes with the tools to enable them to progress through the player development pathways.
